At Mitología, creativity is not about speed or spectacle. It’s a process of returning. We’ve built a space where stories aren’t just told but felt. Where art isn’t bound by rules, and myths are allowed to breathe again.

 

Nestled in the hills of the Mafra Tapada, just north of Lisbon, the studio sits in a 400-square-meter converted warehouse. It’s a peaceful, fully equipped space with its own private gallery, a café terrace for slow afternoons, a kitchen for shared meals, and an organic vegetable garden for sunny day barbecues. Surrounded by horse paddocks, fields, and wide skies, it’s a place where art and nature meet without urgency.

 

Mitología is led by Santos & Radcliffe. Chris, a creative strategist and former design lecturer, and Terri, a multi-award-winning Portuguese-South African art director, have spent decades working across disciplines — television, advertising, hotel and retail design. Together, they’ve created a space where art is a language that crosses borders, cultures, and time.

 

They’re joined by an international team of painters, sculptors, designers, digital artists, photographers, and makers. Some are seasoned professionals, others are teachers, collaborators, or curious explorers. What binds them isn’t style or medium, but a shared belief in creating with authenticity and care.
